The Vineyard
The Domaine Alain Gras, in Saint-Romain, in the Côte de Beaune, benefits from a cool climate thanks to its location on a plateau at 400 meters above sea level. The temperate summers allow a slow maturation of the grapes, while the cool winds ensure a beautiful balance between sugars and acidity. The soils of this Auxey-Duresses wine mix Jurassic limestones, marls and rocky scree.
