Characteristics and tasting advice for Château Batailley 2016
Tasting
Nose
Opening with notes of graphite characteristic of the gravelly terroir of the estate, the nose exhales wild herb fragrances (fresh mint) on aeration.
Palate
On the palate, the wine reveals firm and well-present tannins as well as tasty mineral touches (graphite) and black fruits (blackberries) mixed with infused tobacco. The finish seduces with its length and extreme elegance.
