Description
A sensual red wine from Pauillac
Château Haut-Batailley is a Grand cru classified in 1855 from the appellation of Pauillac. The vineyard extends over 22 hectares. The blend contains 76% Cabernet Sauvignon and 24% Merlot.
At tasting, a garnet colour can be observed on the Château Haut-Batailley 2006. On the nose, one can detect red fruit fragrances, which provide purity and freshness. On the palate this wine displays fruit aromas, silkiness and a particularly elegant body. The wine shows great generosity thanks to its ripe and seductive tannins. It is a rather complex wine with a beautiful balance and a very sensual finish.
