Born in the arid terroir of Priorat, the Serras del Priorat 2015 from Clos Figueras reveals the great authenticity of its vineyard, a hidden gem located in the north of Spain, near Gratallops.
A wonderful vintage in Priorat, 2015 had everything necessary to produce great wines at Clos Figueras. In a blend of Grenache, Carignan, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, the Serras del Priorat 2015 reveals the authentic expression of a rare terroir, the soils of llicorella.
The sumptuous dress of this wine displays an intense red colour. Delicious and complex, the bouquet charms the nose with fresh red berry aromas and subtle notes of caramel. Following an attack full of elegance, the palate offers an aromatic development that highlights the identity of Mediterranean terroirs, through aromas of scrubland, lavender and rosemary, enhanced with spicy notes and a touch of bitter cocoa. The end of the palate is balanced and persistent, stretches into a long and fine finish. The Serras del Priorat 2015 by Clos Figueras reveals a pure expression of the magnificent Priorat region.
