The property

Both under the aegis of the Harlan Family, these mythical estates of the Napa Valley stand out for the extraordinary character of their wines. Drawing their essence from the majestic hills of Oakville, Harlan Estate's creations remain the symbols of what Napa Valley can offer at its best in terms of cabernet. Indeed, if these names sound to your ears like synonyms of excellence it is because they have never ceased to be hailed by critics, considering these crus as true icons of California and being among the most sought-after wines in the world.
The vineyard
Harlan Estate is a Californian wine from a vineyard located at an altitude of 68 to 374 meters above sea level. Located on the hills of Oakville, the vines rest on a terroir rich in minerals and volcanic clay.
The vintage
The start of the growing season is regular, punctuated by warm and dry days between January and February. This is followed by a cool and humid March preceding a spring whose mildness stretches into summer. The harvest was completed before the September fire.
Vinification and ageing
The harvest is manual and the winemaking process is carried out in a traditional way. This Napa Valley wine then benefits from an ageing of 24 to 28 months in oak barrels (50% new).
