The estate
Located in Puligny-Montrachet, Domaine Jean Chartron has owned Burgundy Grand and Premier Crus since 1859.
The vineyard
"Perrières" 2020 from Jean Chartron is a Saint-Aubin Premier Cru wine that stems from a vineyard resting on clay-limestone soils.
Winemaking and ageing
Fermentation in oak casks (25% new)/80% five years old). Ageing for a period of 12 months in casks on fine lees and followed by an extra 4 months of ageing before being bottled.
