Jean-Michel and Anne-Laure Chartron, representing the fifth generation, perpetuate the excellence of this iconic house. The estate is recognised for its environmentally friendly viticultural practices and its commitment to traditional winemaking, revealing the purity of the terroirs of Burgundy.
The vineyard
This Savigny-Les-Beaune wine comes from vineyards resting on clay-limestone soils.
Vinification and ageing
The vinification was carried out entirely in oak barrels, as was the ageing, followed by additional maturation in vats before bottling.
