Tasting
Colour
The colour reveals a beautiful golden hue.
Nose
Dried fruits, honey and hazelnut are all aromas mingling in a rich and intense nose.
Palate
Silky and elegant, the palate combines over the course of the tasting aromas of dried fruits, caramel and nuts. The finish is persistent and has a beautiful aromatic structure.
Service
For optimal tasting, serve between 12 and 16°C.

The property
Founded in 1692 by Job Bearsley, Taylor’s is one of the oldest and most respected Porto houses, a symbol of ancestral know-how passed down from generation to generation. Since its creation more than three centuries ago, Taylor’s has never left the family fold and has managed to preserve its independence. With vineyards located in the Douro Valley, this emblem of Portuguese viticulture controls the entire process of making its Porto wines, from the vineyard to the cellar. Particularly famous for its exceptional cuvées, the estate has built a solid reputation thanks to its Vintage Porto.
The vineyard
Produced in limited quantities, the Taylor’s 30 Year Old Tawny is a vintage port made from great terroirs in the Duriense wine-growing area. Due to their proximity to the Douro River, these vineyards benefit from a cool and humid climate, ensuring a progressive maturation of the berries.
Vinification and ageing
This Vintage Porto benefits from ageing in oak barrels for an average of 30 years, giving it a rare concentration and complexity.
