The estate
Founded by pioneers, embraced by locals and shaped by the Andes Moutains, Terrazas de los Andes is an Argentine estate that boasts a recent but rich history. Three decades ago, Hervé Birnie-Scott, a French agronomist, decided to settle in the picturesque South American lands to elevate the reputation of Argentinian wines among the world’s most renowned references. The challenge was brilliantly taken up, as Terrazas de los Andes is currently regarded as an emblem of fine Argentinian wines.
The vineyard
Malbec Reserva 2019 by Terrazas de los Andes is a Mendoza wine that stems from high-altitude vineyards located at around 1070 metres above sea level. The 20 to 90-year-old vines enjoy ideal conditions and ripen beautiful grapes.
Vinification and ageing
The wine is aged in second to fourth-fill barrels for a period of 12 to 14 months.
