A Tuscan wine combining balance and finesse

The estate

The story begins in 1984 when a couple of wine enthusiasts bought a property, initially intended to be a living environment in contact with nature, which quickly became a vineyard. Tua Rita was born. Over the years and with the recognition of Tua Rita's wines, the estate has grown from two hectares to nine, then twenty and now about thirty hectares. Tua Rita has now become an essential reference for wines from Tuscany, a major wine region in Italy.

The vineyard

The Tua Rita estate covers nearly 30 hectares in the wine-growing area of Maremma Superiore (IGT), in the Val di Cornia, ideally located between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Metalliferous Hills of Tuscany.

The wine

Giusto di Notri 2022 from Tua Rita is a Tuscan wine produced since 1992. This cuvée produced in IGT Toscana is made from vineyards resting on clay soils, composed of pebbles for the higher plots and silt for the lower ones. A higher concentration of clay distinguishes the mid-slope vineyards, where the merlots are planted.

Vinification and ageing

Hand-picked harvest. Ageing for 18 months in French oak barrels then additional ageing for several months before marketing.

Blend

This Giusto di Notri 2022 from Tua Rita is the result of a blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc.

Service

For optimal tasting, serve between 15 and 18°C.
