The estate
The story begins in 1984 when a couple of wine enthusiasts purchased a property, initially intended to be a living environment in contact with nature, which quickly became a vineyard. Tua Rita was born. Over the years and with the recognition of Tua Rita's wines, the estate has grown from two hectares to nine, then twenty and now about thirty hectares. Tua Rita has now become an essential reference for wines from Tuscany, a major wine region in Italy.
The vineyard
The Tua Rita estate covers nearly 30 hectares in the Maremma Supérieur wine region (IGT), in the Val di Cornia, ideally located between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Metalliferous Mountains of Tuscany.
The wine
Redigaffi from Tua Rita is an 'IGT Toscana wine produced since 1994. This cuvée is made from vineyards resting on a mosaic of terroirs, notably composed of clay and silt, giving a rich aromatic palette mixed with a tasty salinity.
Vinification and ageing
Manual harvest. Ageing from 18 to 20 months in French oak barrels then additional ageing for several months before marketing.

Redigaffi 2022 from Tua Rita is a 100% merlot.
