The generosity of a Chilean wine from Central Valley

The property

Located in the Cachapoal Valley, on the foothills of the Andes, VIK is the first Chilean cru. Created by Alex and Carrie VIK, the estate has a vineyard of over 300 hectares in the Millahue Valley named by the indigenous Mapuche people "Lugar de Oro" or "Golden Place". Fruits of an exceptional terroir, combined with the best viticulture and winemaking techniques, the wines of the VIK estate are recognized for their elegance combined with a rare aromatic richness.

The vineyard

After two years of rigorous research, their quest led them to an exceptional terroir nestled at the foot of the Andes, in Millahue, nicknamed "the golden place". The wine-growing area of Central Valley benefits from a temperate Mediterranean climate with a marine influence that moderates maximum temperatures.
