The freshness and aromatic expression of a Californian red wine
The property
Located in the heart of Napa Valley, the BOND estate is none other than the property of H. William Harlan, the founder of Harlan Estate. This property, founded in 1996, organises its production around 5 cuvées exploiting the plots to the fullest: Melbury, Quella, St. Eden, Vecina and Pluribus.
The vineyard
BOND's Vecina 2019 is a Californian wine from a vineyard planted at the foot of the Mayacamas Mountains. Facing southeast, the vines evolve within a terroir spread over 4.45 hectares.
Vinification and ageing
Harvested manually, the berries undergo fermentation free of indigenous yeasts. This Napa Valley wine then undergoes a 28-month ageing in oak barrels.
Grape variety
Cabernet sauvignon (100%).
