Description

The maturity of a concentrated and tense rosé champagne

The property

The champagne Dom Pérignon owes its name to the famous monk and procurator of the Abbey of Hautvillers in 1668, Pierre Pérignon, known as Dom Pérignon. According to legend, Pierre Pérignon discovered what is now known as the Champagne method. As an anecdote, he taught this method in 1669 to the Benedictine Thierry Ruinart, thus allowing Ruinart to historically become the first Champagne house in 1729. Since January 1, 2019, Vincent Chaperon has succeeded Richard Geoffroy as Cellar Master of Dom Pérignon.

The wine

A unique concept specific to Dom Pérignon, Plénitude P2 represents a new expression of Dom Pérignon, after fifteen years in the cellar. Patiently aged and carefully preserved in the House's cellars, Plénitude P2 rosé is a pure and authentic expression of the great Champagne terroirs.

Blend

This Plénitude P2 Rosé 2000 from Dom Pérignon is a blend of pinot noir and chardonnay.
