The property

Founded in 1808, the Henriot Champagne House has been passionately and rigorously cultivating the Chardonnay of the Côte des Blancs for 8 generations, this noble grape variety that will later be at the origin of the style of each of the Henriot cuvées. Champagne highly appreciated at the Court of Holland, Henriot will later become a reference brand among the European aristocracy. Benefiting from a maturation period and a quantity of reserve wines specific to each cuvée, Henriot champagnes stand out for their finesse, exceptional elegance, complexity and radiant richness.

The vineyard

On a vineyard covering 35 hectares, the champagnes of Maison Henriot are partly derived from the most beautiful Champagne terroirs of the Premiers and Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims.

The wine

A creation of the 8th generation of the family, this cuvée reveals the uniqueness of a famous Champagne terroir, the Grand Cru of Avize. Located on the wine-growing slope of the Côte des Blancs, the Avize vineyard indeed benefits from soils whose chalk is covered by hard Tertiary clays and limestones.

This Blanc de Blancs champagne is aged in the house's underground cellars for at least 4 years.
