The property
With over 170 years of experience, the André Bergère family has taken root in the Fèrebrianges terroir. Balancing tradition and know-how, their strength lies primarily in their heritage: passion. The passion for their unique terroir and the dedication to their vines are strong values that are found at the heart of their creations. Today, Adrien and Annaelle Bergère are at the helm of the property, brilliantly enhancing the 65 hectares of vineyards inherited from their grandfather.
The vineyard
The Les Peignottes Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut 2017 from Maison André Bergère is a cuvée made from historic vineyards of the Côte des Blancs, an essential terroir of Champagne. These old vines from Oger, planted in 1920, 1975 and 1990, rest on a soil composed mainly of limestone.
Vinification and aging
This 2007 vintage champagne undergoes vinification on lees, before partial aging in barrels.
Blend
Chardonnay (100%).
