The property
Counted among the oldest estates of the Saint-Estèphe appellation, the Château Haut-Marbuzet has a rich history dating back to 1770. Hervé Duboscq acquired the property in 1952 with the ambition to produce great wines that reveal the full potential of these great terroirs on the left bank of Bordeaux.
The vineyard
The Château Haut-Marbuzet 2015 is a Saint-Estèphe wine from a 66-hectare vineyard. The vines, averaging 30 years old, are planted on a mound of Günzian gravel and a clay-limestone subsoil.
Vinification and aging
The grapes are hand-harvested and manually destemmed before vinification, which includes a long maceration accompanied by daily pump-overs. Aging in new barrels.

Color
Deep, the color reveals a purplish hue.
Nose
