A complex and delicate red wine from Saint-Estèphe
The estate
Among the oldest estates in the Saint-Estèphe appellation, the Château Haut-Marbuzet has a rich history dating back to 1770. Hervé Duboscq acquired the property in 1952 with the ambition to produce great wines that reveal the full potential of these great terroirs on the left bank of Bordeaux.
The vineyard
The Château Haut-Marbuzet is a Saint-Estèphe wine from a 66-hectare vineyard. The vines, averaging 30 years old, are planted on a mound of Günzian gravel and a clay-limestone subsoil.

Tasting
Nose
The nose combines aromas of red fruits, kirsch and crème de cassis.
Palate
At once balanced, delicate, and powerful, the palate is captivating with its crisp acidity and its flavorful notes of fruity (blackberries), empyreumatic (tobacco) and peppery.
Cellaring
This Saint-Estèphe wine can be cellared until 2031.
