IGP Pays d'Oc Wines : Key Points

Since August 2009, IGP Pays d'Oc has replaced the label created by the Pays d'Oc winegrowers in 1987.

Located between the Camargue and the Pyrénées, the IGP Pays d'Oc territory benefits from a Mediterranean-temperate climate ideal for the development of vines and the production of wines expressing, through 58 authorised grape varieties, the characteristics of this Languedoc terroir.

The main grape varieties authorised within this AOP are Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan and Syrah for the reds and Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier and Muscat à Petits Grains for the whites.
