The estate

The Domaine de la Vougeraie was established in 1999 with the ambition of bringing together, under one estate, all the Premier Crus, Grand Crus and Monopoles gradually acquired by the Boisset family, wine merchants, since 1964. Advocating a viticulture that listens to its vineyard, the Domaine de la Vougeraie gives birth to cuvées which, by their precision, their purity, their elegance and their aromatic richness, are recognised as prestigious Burgundy wines. The Domaine de la Vougeraie oversees a terroir of 34 hectares of vines spread over 67 plots.

The vineyard

"Les Corvées Pagets" 2022 from Domaine de la Vougeraie is a Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er cru wine from a vineyard of nearly 0.34 ares, planted in 1987/1988 and facing east. Managed organically since 1998, this terroir rests on stony soils with clay-limestone subsoil.

Vinification and ageing

Gravity vatting of the uncrushed harvest. Pre-fermentation maceration at low temperature (12-15°C) for 5 days. Total maceration of 19 days, accompanied by two punch downs during the vatting then a light pumping over per day until the end of vatting. Ageing for 15 months in barrels (of which 20% are new) and 1 month in stainless steel tank.
