Domaine de la Vougeraie : Savigny-Les-Beaune Village 2022

The estate

The Domaine de la Vougeraie was established in 1999 with the ambition to bring together, under one estate, all the Premier Crus, Grand Crus and Monopoles gradually acquired by the Boisset family, wine merchants, since 1964. Advocating a viticulture that listens to its vineyard, the Domaine de la Vougeraie gives birth to cuvées which, by their precision, their purity, their elegance and their aromatic richness, are recognised as prestigious Burgundy wines. The Domaine de la Vougeraie oversees a terroir of 34 hectares of vines spread over 67 plots.

The vineyard

This Savigny-Les-Beaune Village 2022 is made from two plots (Dessus les Vermots of about 0.45 ha and Les Gollardes – about 0.62 ha) located on limestone soils.

Vinification and ageing

Pressing in a pneumatic press with whole bunches for 2h30, then settling for 24h. Ageing for 14 months in barrels (of which 20% are new) and 2 months in stainless steel tanks.

The Savigny-Les-Beaune Village 2022 from Domaine de la Vougeraie is a 100% chardonnay.
