Description
Characteristics and tasting advice for the Réflexion R.021 Brut from Lallier
Tasting
Color
The color is a beautiful light yellow.
Nose
The nose combines frank aromas dominated by lime and mandarin, accompanied by elegant floral notes. Touches of brioche and fresh hazelnut enrich the bouquet.
Palate
The attack, pure and fresh, presents a delicate iodized sensation. The power of the pinot noir and the roundness of the meunier dominate the mid-palate. The finish is long, deep and marked by a beautiful aromatic maturity.
Food and wine pairings
Salty bites, poultry, fish in sauce or even a dessert with white and yellow fruits are refined pairing suggestions with this cuvée.
A seductive Brut champagne of creaminess and richness
The property
Located in the heart of Aÿ, one of the 17 Champagne villages classified as Grand Cru, the Champagne House Lallier has been writing its history since its foundation by René Lallier in 1906. In constant pursuit of excellence, René-James Lallier, grandson of the founder, opens a new page in the history of the house by carrying out major modernization work on the winemaking tools from 1996. In 2004 Francis Tribaut, a passionate Champagne native who advises other great names in Champagne, acquires Maison Lallier.
The cuvées of Maison Lallier are recognized for their finesse and their authentic expression of the richness of the most beautiful Champagne terroirs.
The wine
Harmoniously combining freshness, purity, depth and intensity, the R cuvée (R for "Reflection") from Lallier is the pure and authentic expression of a vintage but also the nuances of great Champagne terroirs.
